About meetMoi:
We believe that everything is going to go mobile and that dating in particular lends itself to being completely reinvented. It is with this belief that we are trying to change the way singles interact with one another. meetMoi allows users to register from either a PC or their mobile device, view profiles of singles that are near their actual location, and safely interact without exchanging any personally identifiable information. Additionally, Techcrunch named meetMoi as one of the companies primed to dominate a mobile dating space which is expected to garner $1.4 billion in annual revenue by 2013.
meetMoi Employees:
Every member of the meetMoi team has to be dynamite smart and extremely driven. We are looking for people that are motivated by being on the verge of changing an industry and becoming a leading player in the dating space.
We are seeking highly motivated, smart and passionate software developers. You should feel very comfortable across Java and related technologies. You would be involved in software design, infrastructure and architecture design, solving scalability problems, adding new functionality and, of course, writing code. You would be tasked specifically with working on our website (Apache Wicket based), as well as supporting back-end functionality, matching engine/algorithms, and other projects. Projects are typically single developer with a duration of 1 to 2 weeks in length. We run a full open source stack focusing mainly on Java/J2EE, CentOS, MySQL, JBoss, Hibernate, EJB3, Terracotta, ActiveMQ, Tomcat and Apache.
The position requires a passion for entrepreneurship, a strong ability to problem solve, and a desire to learn new skills quickly and effectively.
Applicants should have:
+ Permanent legal right to work in the United States
+ Excellent command of written and spoken English
+ Experience with mobile is a plus but not required
